Regocíjense en el Señor siempre
4 Así que, hermanos míos, amados y deseados, gozo y corona mía, ¡manténganse firmes en el Señor, amados!
2 Ruego a Evodia y a Síntique, que se pongan de acuerdo en el Señor. 3 También a ti, mi compañero fiel, te ruego que ayudes a éstas que lucharon conmigo en el evangelio, junto con Clemente y mis otros colaboradores, cuyos nombres están en el libro de la vida.
4 Regocíjense en el Señor siempre. Y otra vez les digo, ¡regocíjense! 5 Que la gentileza de ustedes sea conocida de todos los hombres. El Señor está cerca. 6 No se preocupen por nada. Que sus peticiones sean conocidas delante de Dios en toda oración y ruego, con acción de gracias, 7 Y que la paz de Dios, que sobrepasa todo entendimiento, guarde sus corazones y sus pensamientos en Cristo Jesús.
Piensen en todo esto
8 Por lo demás, hermanos, piensen en todo lo que es verdadero, en todo lo honesto, en todo lo justo, en todo lo puro, en todo lo amable, en todo lo que es digno de alabanza; si hay en ello alguna virtud, si hay algo que admirar, piensen en ello. 9 Lo que ustedes aprendieron y recibieron de mí; lo que de mí vieron y oyeron, pónganlo por obra, y el Dios de paz estará con ustedes.
Dádivas de los filipenses
10 Grande ha sido mi gozo en el Señor de que al fin han reanudado ustedes su cuidado por mí. Claro, la disposición la tenían, pero les faltaba la oportunidad. 11 No lo digo porque tenga escasez, pues he aprendido a estar contento en cualquier situación. 12 Sé vivir con limitaciones, y también sé tener abundancia; en todo y por todo estoy enseñado, tanto para estar satisfecho como para tener hambre, lo mismo para tener abundancia que para sufrir necesidad; 13 ¡todo lo puedo en Cristo que me fortalece!
14 Sin embargo, hicieron bien en participar conmigo en mi tribulación. 15 Y bien saben ustedes, hermanos filipenses, que al principio de la predicación del evangelio, cuando partí de Macedonia, ninguna iglesia participó conmigo en cuestiones de dar y recibir, sino sólo ustedes. 16 Incluso a Tesalónica(A) una y otra vez ustedes me enviaron para cubrir mis necesidades.(B) 17 No es que yo busque dádivas. Lo que busco es que abunde fruto en la cuenta de ustedes. 18 Pero todo lo he recibido, y tengo abundancia. Estoy lleno, y he recibido de Epafrodito lo que ustedes me enviaron: sacrificio aceptable, de olor fragante(C) y agradable a Dios. 19 Así que mi Dios suplirá todo lo que les falte, conforme a sus riquezas en gloria en Cristo Jesús. 20 A nuestro Dios y Padre sea la gloria, por los siglos de los siglos. Amén.
Salutaciones finales
21 Saluden a todos los santos en Cristo Jesús. Los hermanos que están conmigo les mandan saludos. 22 Todos los santos los saludan, y especialmente los de la casa de César.

Closing Appeal for Steadfastness and Unity
4 Therefore, my brothers and sisters, you whom I love and long for,(A) my joy and crown, stand firm(B) in the Lord in this way, dear friends!
2 I plead with Euodia and I plead with Syntyche to be of the same mind(C) in the Lord. 3 Yes, and I ask you, my true companion, help these women since they have contended at my side in the cause of the gospel, along with Clement and the rest of my co-workers,(D) whose names are in the book of life.(E)
Final Exhortations
4 Rejoice in the Lord always. I will say it again: Rejoice!(F) 5 Let your gentleness be evident to all. The Lord is near.(G) 6 Do not be anxious about anything,(H) but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.(I) 7 And the peace of God,(J) which transcends all understanding,(K) will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.
8 Finally, brothers and sisters, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable—if anything is excellent or praiseworthy—think about such things. 9 Whatever you have learned or received or heard from me, or seen in me—put it into practice.(L) And the God of peace(M) will be with you.
Thanks for Their Gifts
10 I rejoiced greatly in the Lord that at last you renewed your concern for me.(N) Indeed, you were concerned, but you had no opportunity to show it. 11 I am not saying this because I am in need, for I have learned to be content(O) whatever the circumstances. 12 I know what it is to be in need, and I know what it is to have plenty. I have learned the secret of being content in any and every situation, whether well fed or hungry,(P) whether living in plenty or in want.(Q) 13 I can do all this through him who gives me strength.(R)
14 Yet it was good of you to share(S) in my troubles. 15 Moreover, as you Philippians know, in the early days(T) of your acquaintance with the gospel, when I set out from Macedonia,(U) not one church shared with me in the matter of giving and receiving, except you only;(V) 16 for even when I was in Thessalonica,(W) you sent me aid more than once when I was in need.(X) 17 Not that I desire your gifts; what I desire is that more be credited to your account.(Y) 18 I have received full payment and have more than enough. I am amply supplied, now that I have received from Epaphroditus(Z) the gifts you sent. They are a fragrant(AA) offering, an acceptable sacrifice, pleasing to God. 19 And my God will meet all your needs(AB) according to the riches of his glory(AC) in Christ Jesus.
20 To our God and Father(AD) be glory for ever and ever. Amen.(AE)
Final Greetings
21 Greet all God’s people in Christ Jesus. The brothers and sisters who are with me(AF) send greetings. 22 All God’s people(AG) here send you greetings, especially those who belong to Caesar’s household.
