20 Kaya pinagpala ng Dios ang mga kumadrona at dumami pa nang dumami ang mga Israelita. 21 At dahil sa iginagalang ng mga kumadrona ang Dios, binigyan sila ng Dios ng sarili nilang pamilya.

22 Nang bandang huli, nag-utos ang Faraon sa lahat ng mamamayan niya, “Itapon ninyo sa Ilog ng Nilo ang lahat ng bagong panganak na sanggol na lalaki ng mga Israelita, pero pabayaan ninyong mabuhay ang mga batang babae.”

20 So God was kind to the midwives(A) and the people increased and became even more numerous. 21 And because the midwives feared(B) God, he gave them families(C) of their own.

22 Then Pharaoh gave this order to all his people: “Every Hebrew boy that is born you must throw into the Nile,(D) but let every girl live.”(E)

21 And it came to pass, because the midwives feared God, that he made them houses.

22 And Pharaoh charged all his people, saying, Every son that is born ye shall cast into the river, and every daughter ye shall save alive.
