16 於是法老急忙召了摩西和亞倫來，說：「我得罪了耶和華—你們的 神，又得罪了你們。 17 現在求你，就這一次，饒恕我的罪，祈求耶和華—你們的 神救我脫離這次的死亡。」 18 摩西就離開法老，去祈求耶和華。 19 耶和華轉變風向，使強勁的西風吹來，把蝗蟲颳起，吹入紅海[a]；在埃及全境連一隻也沒有留下。 20 但耶和華任憑法老的心剛硬，不放以色列人走。

16 Pharaoh quickly summoned(A) Moses and Aaron and said, “I have sinned(B) against the Lord your God and against you. 17 Now forgive(C) my sin once more and pray(D) to the Lord your God to take this deadly plague away from me.”
18 Moses then left Pharaoh and prayed to the Lord.(E) 19 And the Lord changed the wind to a very strong west wind, which caught up the locusts and carried them into the Red Sea.[a] Not a locust was left anywhere in Egypt. 20 But the Lord hardened Pharaoh’s heart,(F) and he would not let the Israelites go.
