³ No ^(A)one shall come up with you, and let no one be seen throughout all the mountain. Let no flocks or herds graze opposite that mountain.”

¹² And you shall set limits for the people all around, saying, ‘Take care not to go up into the mountain or touch the edge of it. ^(A)Whoever touches the mountain shall be put to death. ¹³ No hand shall touch him, but he shall be stoned or shot;^[a] whether beast or man, he shall not live.’ When ^(B)the trumpet sounds a long blast, they shall come up to the mountain.”

²¹ And the Lord said to Moses, “Go down and warn the people, lest they break through to the Lord ^(A)to look and many of them perish.

²⁰ For they could not endure the order that was given, ^(A)“If even a beast touches the mountain, it shall be stoned.”

⁵ For ^(A)there is one God, and there is one mediator between God and men, the man^[a] Christ Jesus,

^17 (A)No one may be in the tent of meeting from the time he enters to make atonement in the Holy Place until he comes out and has made atonement for himself and for his house and for all the assembly of Israel.
