3 Then the king said to her, “What’s wrong, Queen Esther? And what is your request? It shall be given to you, even up to half of the kingdom.”
4 Then Esther said, “If it please the king, let the king and Haman come this day to the banquet that I have prepared for him.”
5 And the king said, “Bring Haman quickly, so that he may do as Esther has said.” So, the king and Haman came to the banquet that Esther had prepared.

3 Then the king asked, “What is it, Queen Esther? What is your request? Even up to half the kingdom,(A) it will be given you.”
4 “If it pleases the king,” replied Esther, “let the king, together with Haman, come today to a banquet I have prepared for him.”
5 “Bring Haman at once,” the king said, “so that we may do what Esther asks.”
So the king and Haman went to the banquet Esther had prepared.

4 So Esther answered, “If it pleases you, Your Majesty, come today with Haman to a dinner I have prepared for you.”
5 The king replied, “Bring Haman right away, and do whatever Esther asks.” So the king and Haman came to the dinner that Esther had prepared.
