9 Aquel día Amán salió alegre y con corazón contento; pero cuando Amán vio a Mardoqueo en la puerta del rey(C) y que este no se levantaba ni temblaba[b] delante de él, Amán se llenó de furor contra Mardoqueo(D). 10 Amán, sin embargo, se contuvo, fue a su casa, y mandó traer a sus amigos y a su mujer Zeres(E).

8 If the king approves of me[a] and if it pleases the king to grant my petition and perform my request,(A) may the king and Haman come to the banquet I will prepare for them.(B) Tomorrow I will do what the king has asked.”
9 That day Haman left full of joy and in good spirits.[b](C) But when Haman saw Mordecai at the King’s Gate, and Mordecai didn’t rise or tremble in fear at his presence, Haman was filled with rage toward Mordecai.(D) 10 Yet Haman controlled himself and went home. He sent for his friends and his wife Zeresh(E) to join him.

New International Version
8 If the king regards me with favor(A) and if it pleases the king to grant my petition and fulfill my request, let the king and Haman come tomorrow to the banquet(B) I will prepare for them. Then I will answer the king’s question.”
Haman’s Rage Against Mordecai
9 Haman went out that day happy and in high spirits. But when he saw Mordecai at the king’s gate and observed that he neither rose nor showed fear in his presence, he was filled with rage(C) against Mordecai.(D) 10 Nevertheless, Haman restrained himself and went home.

8 If I have found favour in the sight of the king, and if it please the king to grant my petition, and to perform my request, let the king and Haman come to the banquet that I shall prepare for them, and I will do to morrow as the king hath said.
9 Then went Haman forth that day joyful and with a glad heart: but when Haman saw Mordecai in the king's gate, that he stood not up, nor moved for him, he was full of indignation against Mordecai.
10 Nevertheless Haman refrained himself: and when he came home, he sent and called for his friends, and Zeresh his wife.
