34 Alltsammans räknades och vägdes och samtidigt antecknades summorna. 35 De deporterade som hade återvänt från fångenskapen offrade brännoffer till Israels Gud: 12 tjurar för hela Israel, 96 baggar, 77 lamm och som syndoffer 12 bockar, alltsammans som brännoffer åt Herren. 36 De överlämnade kungens förordningar till de kungliga satraperna och ståthållarna i provinsen väster om Eufrat, och dessa understödde sedan folket och Guds hus.

Ezra 8:34-36
New International Version
34 Everything was accounted for by number and weight, and the entire weight was recorded at that time.
35 Then the exiles who had returned from captivity sacrificed burnt offerings to the God of Israel: twelve bulls(A) for all Israel,(B) ninety-six rams, seventy-seven male lambs and, as a sin offering,[a] twelve male goats.(C) All this was a burnt offering to the Lord. 36 They also delivered the king’s orders(D) to the royal satraps and to the governors of Trans-Euphrates,(E) who then gave assistance to the people and to the house of God.(F)
