Ephesians 4:30

³⁰Don’t make the Holy Spirit of God unhappy—you were sealed by him for the day of redemption.

Ephesians 4:30

New International Version

³⁰And do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God,^(A) with whom you were sealed^(B) for the day of redemption.^(C)

¹⁰So I was angry with them.
I said, “Their hearts always go off course,
and they don’t know my ways.”

¹⁰That is why I was angry with that generation;
I said, ‘Their hearts are always going astray,
and they have not known my ways.’

¹⁷And with whom was God angry for forty years? Wasn’t it with the ones who sinned, whose bodies fell in the desert?

¹⁷And with whom was he angry for forty years? Was it not with those who sinned, whose bodies perished in the wilderness?^(A)
