^2 (A)in which you once walked, following the course^[a] of this world, following ^(B)the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that is now at work in ^(C)the sons of disobedience— ³ among whom we all once lived in ^(D)the passions of our flesh, carrying out the desires of the flesh and the mind, and ^(E)were by nature ^(F)children of wrath, like the rest of mankind.^[b]

One in Christ

¹¹ Therefore remember that at one time you Gentiles in the flesh, called “the uncircumcision” by what is called ^(A)the circumcision, which is made in the flesh by hands—

¹³ But now in Christ Jesus you who once were ^(A)far off have been brought near ^(B)by the blood of Christ.

^21 (A)And you, who once were alienated and hostile in mind, ^(B)doing evil deeds,

^7 (A)In these you too once walked, when you were living in them.

³ For ^(A)we ourselves were once foolish, disobedient, led astray, slaves to various passions and pleasures, passing our days in malice and envy, hated by others and hating one another.
