⁶ not like those who do their work only when someone is watching^[a]—as people-pleasers—but as slaves of Christ doing the will of God from the heart.^[b]

³ For this is God’s will: that you become holy,^[a] that you keep away from sexual immorality,

¹⁸ in everything give thanks. For this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.

¹⁵ For God wants you^[a] to silence the ignorance of foolish people by doing good.

² in that he spends the rest of his time^[a] on earth concerned about the will of God and not human desires.
