Circumcise Your Heart

¹² “And now, Israel, ^(A)what does the Lord your God require of you, but ^(B)to fear the Lord your God, ^(C)to walk in all his ways, ^(D)to love him, to serve the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul, ¹³ and ^(E)to keep the commandments and statutes of the Lord, which I am commanding you today ^(F)for your good?

¹⁵ and how ^(A)from childhood you have been acquainted with ^(B)the sacred writings, ^(C)which are able to make you wise for salvation through faith in Christ Jesus. ^16 (D)All Scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness, ¹⁷ that ^(E)the man of God^[a] may be complete, ^(F)equipped ^(G)for every good work.

³⁰ Then he brought them out and said, “Sirs, ^(A)what must I do to be ^(B)saved?” ³¹ And they said, ^(C)“Believe in the Lord Jesus, and you will be saved, you ^(D)and your household.”

¹³ The end of the matter; all has been heard. ^(A)Fear God and keep his commandments, for this is the whole duty of man.^[a]

¹¹ Now these things happened to them as an example, but ^(A)they were written down for our instruction, ^(B)on whom the end of the ages has come.
