36 (A)except Caleb the son of Jephunneh; he shall see it, and to him and his children I am giving the land on which he walked, because (B)he [a]wholly followed the Lord.’ 37 (C)The Lord was also angry with me for your sakes, saying, ‘Even you shall not go in there. 38 (D)Joshua the son of Nun, (E)who stands before you, he shall go in there. (F)Encourage him, for he shall cause Israel to inherit it.
39 (G)‘Moreover your little ones and your children, who (H)you say will be victims, who today (I)have no knowledge of good and evil, they shall go in there; to them I will give it, and they shall possess it.

36 except Caleb(A) son of Jephunneh. He will see it, and I will give him and his descendants the land he set his feet on, because he followed the Lord wholeheartedly.(B)”
37 Because of you the Lord became angry(C) with me also and said, “You shall not enter(D) it, either. 38 But your assistant, Joshua(E) son of Nun, will enter it. Encourage(F) him, because he will lead(G) Israel to inherit(H) it. 39 And the little ones that you said would be taken captive,(I) your children who do not yet know(J) good from bad—they will enter the land. I will give it to them and they will take possession of it.

36 Save Caleb the son of Jephunneh; he shall see it, and to him will I give the land that he hath trodden upon, and to his children, because he hath wholly followed the Lord.
37 Also the Lord was angry with me for your sakes, saying, Thou also shalt not go in thither.
38 But Joshua the son of Nun, which standeth before thee, he shall go in thither: encourage him: for he shall cause Israel to inherit it.
39 Moreover your little ones, which ye said should be a prey, and your children, which in that day had no knowledge between good and evil, they shall go in thither, and unto them will I give it, and they shall possess it.
