Nebuchadnezzar’s Dream

2 In the second year of his reign, Nebuchadnezzar had dreams^(A) that troubled him, and sleep deserted him.^(B)

⁶ his face turned pale,^[a] and his thoughts so terrified him that he soiled himself^[b] and his knees knocked together.

²⁸ “This is the end of the account. As for me, Daniel, my thoughts terrified me greatly,^(A) and my face turned pale,^[a] but I kept the matter to myself.”^(B)
