¹³ He ^(A)has delivered us from ^(B)the domain of darkness and transferred us to ^(C)the kingdom of ^(D)his beloved Son, ^14 (E)in whom we have redemption, the forgiveness of sins.

⁴⁵ For even the Son of Man came not to be served but ^(A)to serve, and ^(B)to give his life as a ransom for ^(C)many.”

³⁴ Jesus answered them, “Truly, truly, I say to you, ^(A)everyone who practices sin is a slave^[a] to sin. ^35 (B)The slave does not remain in the house forever; ^(C)the son remains forever. ³⁶ So if the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed.

¹³ Christ ^(A)redeemed us from the curse of the law by becoming a curse for us—for it is written, ^(B)“Cursed is everyone who is hanged ^(C)on a tree”—

¹¹ For ^(A)the grace of God ^(B)has appeared, bringing salvation ^(C)for all people, ¹² training us to renounce ungodliness and ^(D)worldly passions, and ^(E)to live self-controlled, upright, and godly lives in ^(F)the present age, ^13 (G)waiting for our blessed ^(H)hope, the ^(I)appearing of the glory of our great ^(J)God and Savior Jesus Christ, ^14 (K)who gave himself for us to ^(L)redeem us from all lawlessness and ^(M)to purify for himself ^(N)a people for his own possession who are ^(O)zealous for good works.
