¹⁰ so that you may live a life worthy^(A) of the Lord and please him^(B) in every way: bearing fruit in every good work, growing in the knowledge of God,^{(C) 11} being strengthened with all power^(D) according to his glorious might so that you may have great endurance and patience,^{(E) 12} and giving joyful thanks to the Father,^(F) who has qualified you^[a] to share in the inheritance^(G) of his holy people in the kingdom of light.^(H)

Spiritual Fullness in Christ

⁶ So then, just as you received Christ Jesus as Lord,^(A) continue to live your lives in him, ⁷ rooted^(B) and built up in him, strengthened in the faith as you were taught,^(C) and overflowing with thankfulness.

¹⁵ Let the peace of Christ^(A) rule in your hearts, since as members of one body^(B) you were called to peace.^(C) And be thankful. ¹⁶ Let the message of Christ^(D) dwell among you richly as you teach and admonish one another with all wisdom^(E) through psalms,^(F) hymns, and songs from the Spirit, singing to God with gratitude in your hearts.^{(G) 17} And whatever you do,^(H) whether in word or deed, do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks^(I) to God the Father through him.
