128 Mapalad ang bawa't isa na natatakot sa Panginoon, na lumalakad sa kaniyang mga daan.
2 Sapagka't iyong kakanin ang gawa ng iyong mga kamay: magiging maginhawa ka, at ikabubuti mo.
3 Ang asawa mo'y magiging parang mabungang puno ng ubas, sa mga pinakaloob ng iyong bahay: ang mga anak mo'y parang mga puno ng olibo, sa palibot ng iyong dulang.
4 Narito, na ganito nawa pagpalain ang tao, na natatakot sa Panginoon.
5 Pagpapalain ka ng Panginoon mula sa Sion: at iyong makikita ang buti ng Jerusalem sa lahat na kaarawan ng iyong buhay.
6 Oo, iyong makikita ang mga anak ng iyong mga anak. Kapayapaan nawa'y suma Israel.

A song of ascents.
1 Blessed are all who fear the Lord,(A)
who walk in obedience to him.(B)
2 You will eat the fruit of your labor;(C)
blessings and prosperity(D) will be yours.
3 Your wife will be like a fruitful vine(E)
within your house;
your children(F) will be like olive shoots(G)
around your table.
4 Yes, this will be the blessing(H)
for the man who fears the Lord.(I)

128 (Shir HaMa’alot) Ashrei kol yerei (fearers of) Hashem; that walketh in His drakhim.
2 For thou shalt eat the labor of thine hands; happy shalt thou be, and it shall be tov with thee.
3 Thy isha shall be as a fruitful gefen inside thine bais; thy banim like olive shoots around thy shulchan.
4 Hinei, thus shall the gever be blessed that feareth Hashem.
5 Hashem shall bless thee out of Tziyon; and thou shalt see the tov of Yerushalayim all the days of thy life.
6 Yea, thou shalt see thy bnei banim, and shalom upon Yisroel.
