Mensaje a la iglesia de Sardis
3 Y escribe al ángel de la iglesia en Sardis(A):
«El que tiene los siete Espíritus de Dios(B) y las siete estrellas(C), dice esto: “Yo conozco tus obras(D), que tienes nombre de que vives, pero estás muerto(E). 2 Ponte en vela y afirma las cosas que quedan, que estaban a punto de morir, porque no he hallado completas tus obras delante de mi Dios. 3 Acuérdate(F), pues, de lo que[a] has recibido y oído; guárdalo y arrepiéntete(G). Por tanto, si no velas, vendré(H) como ladrón(I), y no sabrás a qué hora vendré sobre ti(J). 4 Pero tienes unos pocos[b](K) en Sardis(L) que no han manchado sus vestiduras(M), y andarán conmigo vestidos de blanco(N), porque son dignos. 5 Así el vencedor[c](O) será vestido de[d] vestiduras(P) blancas y no borraré su nombre del libro de la vida(Q), y reconoceré su nombre delante de mi Padre(R) y delante de sus ángeles. 6 El que tiene oído, oiga lo que el Espíritu dice a las iglesias(S)”».
Mensaje a la iglesia de Filadelfia
7 Y escribe al ángel de la iglesia en Filadelfia(T):
«El Santo(U), el Verdadero(V), el que tiene la llave de David(W), el que abre y nadie cierra[e], y cierra y nadie abre, dice esto: 8 “Yo conozco tus obras(X). Mira, he puesto delante de ti una puerta abierta que nadie puede cerrar(Y), porque tienes un poco de poder, has guardado mi palabra y no has negado mi nombre(Z). 9 He aquí, yo entregaré[f] a aquellos de la sinagoga de Satanás(AA) que se dicen ser judíos y no lo son, sino que mienten; he aquí, yo haré que vengan y se postren a[g] tus pies(AB), y sepan que yo te he amado(AC). 10 Porque has guardado la palabra(AD) de mi perseverancia(AE), yo también te guardaré(AF) de la hora de la prueba[h](AG), esa hora que está por venir sobre todo el mundo[i](AH) para poner a prueba[j] a los que habitan sobre la tierra(AI). 11 Vengo pronto(AJ); retén firme lo que tienes(AK), para que nadie tome tu corona(AL). 12 Al vencedor[k](AM) le haré una columna en el templo de mi Dios(AN), y nunca más saldrá de allí[l]; escribiré sobre él el nombre de mi Dios(AO), y el nombre de la ciudad de mi Dios(AP), la nueva Jerusalén(AQ), que desciende del cielo de mi Dios, y mi nombre nuevo(AR). 13 El que tiene oído, oiga lo que el Espíritu dice a las iglesias(AS)”».
Mensaje a la iglesia de Laodicea
14 Y escribe al ángel de la iglesia en Laodicea(AT):
«El Amén(AU), el Testigo fiel y verdadero(AV), el Principio[m] de la creación de Dios(AW), dice esto: 15 “Yo conozco tus obras(AX), que ni eres frío ni caliente. ¡Ojalá fueras frío o caliente(AY)! 16 Así, puesto que eres tibio, y no frío ni caliente, te vomitaré de mi boca. 17 Porque dices: ‘Soy rico, me he enriquecido y de nada tengo necesidad’; y no sabes que eres un miserable y digno de lástima, y pobre, ciego y desnudo(AZ), 18 te aconsejo que de mí compres(BA) oro refinado por fuego(BB) para que te hagas rico, y vestiduras blancas(BC) para que te vistas y no se manifieste la vergüenza de tu desnudez(BD), y colirio para ungir tus ojos para que puedas ver. 19 Yo reprendo y disciplino a todos los que amo(BE); sé, pues, celoso y arrepiéntete(BF). 20 He aquí, yo estoy a la puerta(BG) y llamo(BH); si alguno oye mi voz y abre la puerta, entraré a él, y cenaré con él y él conmigo(BI). 21 Al vencedor[n](BJ), le concederé sentarse conmigo en mi trono(BK), como yo también vencí y me senté con mi Padre en su trono(BL). 22 El que tiene oído, oiga lo que el Espíritu dice a las iglesias(BM)”».

3 »Escribe también al ángel de la iglesia de Sardes: “Esto dice el que tiene los siete espíritus de Dios y las siete estrellas: Yo sé todo lo que haces, y sé que estás muerto aunque tienes fama de estar vivo. 2 Despiértate y refuerza las cosas que todavía quedan, pero que ya están a punto de morir, pues he visto que lo que haces no es perfecto delante de mi Dios. 3 Recuerda, pues, la enseñanza que has recibido; síguela y vuélvete a Dios. Si no te mantienes despierto, iré a ti como el ladrón, cuando menos lo esperes. 4 Sin embargo, ahí en Sardes tienes unas cuantas personas que no han manchado sus ropas; ellas andarán conmigo vestidas de blanco, porque se lo merecen. 5 Los que salgan vencedores serán así vestidos de blanco, y no borraré sus nombres del libro de la vida, sino que los reconoceré delante de mi Padre y delante de sus ángeles. 6 ¡El que tiene oídos, oiga lo que el Espíritu dice a las iglesias!”

7 »Escribe también al ángel de la iglesia de Filadelfia: “Esto dice el que es santo y verdadero, el que tiene la llave del rey David, el que cuando abre nadie puede cerrar y cuando cierra nadie puede abrir: 8 Yo sé todo lo que haces; mira, delante de ti he puesto una puerta abierta que nadie puede cerrar, y aunque tienes poca fuerza, has hecho caso de mi palabra y no me has negado. 9 Yo haré que los de la congregación de Satanás, los mentirosos que dicen ser judíos y no lo son, vayan a arrodillarse a tus pies, para que sepan que yo te he amado. 10 Has cumplido mi mandamiento de ser constante, y por eso yo te protegeré de la hora de prueba que va a venir sobre el mundo entero para poner a prueba a todos los que viven en la tierra. 11 Vengo pronto. Conserva lo que tienes, para que nadie te arrebate tu premio. 12 A los que salgan vencedores les daré que sean columnas en el templo de mi Dios, y nunca más saldrán de allí; y en ellos escribiré el nombre de mi Dios y el nombre de la ciudad de mi Dios, la nueva Jerusalén que viene del cielo, de mi Dios; y también escribiré en ellos mi nombre nuevo. 13 ¡El que tiene oídos, oiga lo que el Espíritu dice a las iglesias!”

14 »Escribe también al ángel de la iglesia de Laodicea: “Esto dice el Amén, el testigo fiel y verdadero, el origen de todo lo que Dios creó: 15 Yo sé todo lo que haces. Sé que no eres frío ni caliente. ¡Ojalá fueras frío o caliente! 16 Pero como eres tibio, y no frío ni caliente, te vomitaré de mi boca. 17 Pues tú dices que eres rico, que te ha ido muy bien y que no te hace falta nada; y no te das cuenta de que eres un desdichado, miserable, pobre, ciego y desnudo. 18 Por eso te aconsejo que de mí compres oro refinado en el fuego, para que seas realmente rico; y que de mí compres ropa blanca para vestirte y cubrir tu vergonzosa desnudez, y una medicina para que te la pongas en los ojos y veas. 19 Yo reprendo y corrijo a todos los que amo. Por lo tanto, sé fervoroso y vuélvete a Dios. 20 Mira, yo estoy llamando a la puerta; si alguien oye mi voz y abre la puerta, entraré en su casa y cenaremos juntos. 21 A los que salgan vencedores les daré un lugar conmigo en mi trono, así como yo he vencido y me he sentado con mi Padre en su trono. 22 ¡El que tiene oídos, oiga lo que el Espíritu dice a las iglesias!”»

Write To Sardis: You Are Alive In Name Only. Remember What You Received. Repent
3 “And to the angel of the church in Sardis, write— These things says the One having the seven Spirits[a] of God and the seven stars. I know your works: that you have a name[b] that you are alive[c], and you are dead. 2 Be[d] keeping-watch, and establish[e] the remaining things which were-about-to die, for I have not found your works fulfilled[f] in the sight of My God. 3 Therefore be remembering how you have received and you heard, and be keeping it, and repent. Therefore if you do not keep-watch, I will come like a thief. And you will never know at what hour I will come upon you. 4 But you have a few names[g] in Sardis who did not stain their garments. And they will walk with Me in white garments, because they are worthy. 5 The one overcoming will in-this-manner clothe himself in white garments. And I will never[h] wipe-out[i] his name from the book of life. And I will confess[j] his name before My Father and before His angels. 6 Let the one having an ear hear what the Spirit is saying to the churches.
Write To Philadelphia: You Have Kept My Word. I Am Giving You an Opened Door
7 “And to the angel of the church in Philadelphia, write— These things says the Holy One, the True One, the One having the key[k] of David, the One opening and no one will shut, and shutting and no one opens. 8 I know your works[l]. Behold— I have given before you an opened door[m] (which, no one is able to shut it). Because[n] you have a little[o] power[p], and you kept My word, and you did not deny My name, 9 behold— I am giving some[q] from the synagogue of Satan, the ones saying that they are Jews (and they are not), but they are lying. Behold— I will make them so that they will come and worship[r] before your feet, and they may know that I loved you. 10 Because you kept the word of My[s] endurance, I also will keep[t] you from[u] the hour of testing, the hour going-to come upon the whole world to test the ones dwelling upon the earth[v]. 11 I am coming quickly. Be holding-on-to what you have in order that no one may take your crown. 12 The one overcoming— I will make him a pillar in the temple of My God, and he will never go outside again. And I will write upon him the name of My God, and the name of the city of My God— the new Jerusalem, the one coming down out of heaven from My God— and My new name. 13 Let the one having an ear hear what the Spirit is saying to the churches.
Write To Laodicea: You Are Lukewarm. Get What You Need From Me. Repent
14 “And to the angel of the church in Laodicea, write— These things says the Amen, the Faithful and True Witness, the Beginning[w] of the creation of God. 15 I know your works: that you are neither cold nor hot. O-that you were cold or hot. 16 So because you are lukewarm and neither hot nor cold, I am about-to spew you out of My mouth. 17 Because you say that “I am a rich one, and I have become-rich, and I have a need for nothing”, and you do not know that you are the one wretched and pitiable and poor and blind and naked— 18 I counsel you to buy from Me gold having been refined by fire in order that you may become-rich, and white garments in order that you may clothe yourself and the shame of your nakedness may not be revealed, and eye-salve to rub-in your eyes in order that you may see. 19 I rebuke and discipline[x] all whom I love. Therefore be zealous, and repent. 20 Behold— I stand at the door. And I am knocking. If anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I also[y] will come-in to him. And I will have-dinner with him, and he with Me. 21 The one overcoming— I will give him authority to sit down with Me on My throne, as I also overcame and sat down with My Father on His throne. 22 Let the one having an ear hear what the Spirit is saying to the churches”.
