35 And all the ones dwelling-in Lydda and Sharon saw him— who[a] [then] turned to the Lord.

36 Now in Joppa, there was a certain disciple, Tabitha by name (which being interpreted[b] means “Dorcas”). This one was full of good works and acts-of-almsgiving[c] which she was doing. 37 And it came about in those days that having become sick, she died. And having washed her, they laid her in an upper-room.
