⁵⁹And they stoned Stephen, calling upon God, and saying, Lord Jesus, receive my spirit.

⁵⁹And they stoned Stephen as he was calling on God and saying, “Lord Jesus, ^(A)receive my spirit.”

⁶⁰Then he fell on his knees^(A) and cried out, “Lord, do not hold this sin against them.”^(B) When he had said this, he fell asleep.^(C)

⁶⁰And he kneeled down, and cried with a loud voice, Lord, lay not this sin to their charge. And when he had said this, he fell asleep.

⁶⁰Then he knelt down and cried out with a loud voice, ^(A)“Lord, do not charge them with this sin.” And when he had said this, he fell asleep.
