21 other than[a] this one thing[b] I shouted out while I stood before[c] them: ‘I am on trial before you today concerning the resurrection of the dead.’”[d]
22 Then Felix,[e] who understood the facts[f] concerning the Way[g] more accurately,[h] adjourned their hearing,[i] saying, “When Lysias the commanding officer comes down, I will decide your case.”[j] 23 He ordered the centurion[k] to guard Paul,[l] but to let him have some freedom,[m] and not to prevent any of his friends[n] from meeting his needs.[o]
