Acts 17:22-27
New International Version
22 Paul then stood up in the meeting of the Areopagus(A) and said: “People of Athens! I see that in every way you are very religious.(B) 23 For as I walked around and looked carefully at your objects of worship, I even found an altar with this inscription: to an unknown god. So you are ignorant of the very thing you worship(C)—and this is what I am going to proclaim to you.
24 “The God who made the world and everything in it(D) is the Lord of heaven and earth(E) and does not live in temples built by human hands.(F) 25 And he is not served by human hands, as if he needed anything. Rather, he himself gives everyone life and breath and everything else.(G) 26 From one man he made all the nations, that they should inhabit the whole earth; and he marked out their appointed times in history and the boundaries of their lands.(H) 27 God did this so that they would seek him and perhaps reach out for him and find him, though he is not far from any one of us.(I)

The Areopagus Address
22 Paul stood in the middle of the Areopagus and said, “People of Athens! I see that you are extremely religious in every respect. 23 For as I was passing through and observing the objects of your worship, I even found an altar on which was inscribed, ‘To an Unknown God.’ Therefore, what you worship in ignorance, this I proclaim to you. 24 The God who made the world and everything in it(A)—he is Lord of heaven and earth(B)—does not live in shrines made by hands.(C) 25 Neither is he served by human hands, as though he needed anything,(D) since he himself gives everyone life and breath and all things.(E) 26 From one man[a] he has made every nationality to live over the whole earth and has determined their appointed times and the boundaries of where they live.(F) 27 He did this so that they might seek God, and perhaps they might reach out and find him, though he is not far from each one of us.(G)

King James Version
22 Then Paul stood in the midst of Mars' hill, and said, Ye men of Athens, I perceive that in all things ye are too superstitious.
23 For as I passed by, and beheld your devotions, I found an altar with this inscription, To The Unknown God. Whom therefore ye ignorantly worship, him declare I unto you.
24 God that made the world and all things therein, seeing that he is Lord of heaven and earth, dwelleth not in temples made with hands;
25 Neither is worshipped with men's hands, as though he needed any thing, seeing he giveth to all life, and breath, and all things;
26 And hath made of one blood all nations of men for to dwell on all the face of the earth, and hath determined the times before appointed, and the bounds of their habitation;
27 That they should seek the Lord, if haply they might feel after him, and find him, though he be not far from every one of us:

22 So Paul, standing in the midst of the Areopagus, said: “Men of Athens, I perceive that in every way you are very religious. 23 For as I passed along and observed the objects of your worship, I found also an altar with this inscription: (A)‘To the unknown god.’ (B)What therefore you worship (C)as unknown, this I proclaim to you. 24 (D)The God who made the world and everything in it, being (E)Lord of heaven and earth, (F)does not live in temples made by man,[a] 25 nor is he served by human hands, (G)as though he needed anything, since he himself (H)gives to all mankind (I)life and breath and everything. 26 And (J)he made from one man every nation of mankind to live (K)on all the face of the earth, (L)having determined allotted periods and (M)the boundaries of their dwelling place, 27 (N)that they should seek God, (O)and perhaps feel their way toward him and find him.
