38 Therefore let it be known to you, [a]brothers, that (A)through [b]Him forgiveness of sins is proclaimed to you, 39 and [c]through Him (B)everyone who believes is [d]freed from all things, from which you could not be [e]freed [f]through the Law of Moses. 40 Therefore, see that the thing spoken of (C)in the Prophets does not come upon you:
41 ‘(D)Look, you scoffers, and be astonished, and [g]perish;
For I am accomplishing a work in your days,
A work which you will never believe, though someone should describe it to you.’”
