4 Nítorí náà mo pàṣẹ fún ọ níwájú Ọlọ́run, àti Kristi Jesu, ẹni tí yóò ṣe ìdájọ́ alààyè àti òkú, àti nítorí ìfarahàn rẹ̀ àti ìjọba rẹ̀. 2 Wàásù ọ̀rọ̀ náà, ṣe àìsimi ní àkókò tí ó wọ̀, àti àkókò ti kò wọ̀; bá ni wí, ṣe ìtọ́ni, gbani níyànjú pẹ̀lú ìpamọ́ra àti ẹ̀kọ́ gbogbo. 3 Nítorí pé ìgbà yóò dé, tí wọn kì yóò lè gba ẹ̀kọ́ tí ó yè kooro, ṣùgbọ́n bí wọ́n ti jẹ́ ẹni tí etí ń rin, wọn ó lọ kó olùkọ́ jọ fún ara wọn nínú ìfẹ́kúfẹ̀ẹ́ ara wọn. 4 Wọ́n ó sì yí etí wọn padà kúrò nínú òtítọ́, wọn ó sì yípadà sí ìtàn asán. 5 Ṣùgbọ́n máa faradà ìpọ́njú, ṣe iṣẹ́ efangelisti, ṣe iṣẹ́ rẹ láṣepé.
6 Nítorí à ń fi mi rú ẹbọ nísinsin yìí, àtilọ mi sì súnmọ́ etílé. 7 Èmi ti ja ìjà rere, èmi tí parí iré-ìje mi, èmi ti pa ìgbàgbọ́ mọ́; 8 Láti ìsinsin yìí lọ a fi adé òdodo lélẹ̀ fún mi, tí Olúwa onídàájọ́ òdodo, yóò fífún mi ni ọjọ́ náà kì í sì í ṣe kìkì èmi nìkan ṣùgbọ́n pẹ̀lú fún gbogbo àwọn tí ó ti fẹ́ ìfarahàn rẹ̀.

9 Sa ipá rẹ láti tètè tọ̀ mí wá. 10 (A)Nítorí Dema ti kọ̀ mí sílẹ̀, nítorí ó ń fẹ́ ayé yìí, ó sì lọ sí Tẹsalonika; Kreskeni sí Galatia, Titu sí Dalimatia. 11 Luku nìkan ni ó wà pẹ̀lú mi, mú Marku wá pẹ̀lú rẹ: nítorí ó wúlò fún mi fún iṣẹ́ ìránṣẹ́. 12 Mo rán Tikiku ní iṣẹ́ lọ sí Efesu. 13 Aṣọ òtútù tí mo fi sílẹ̀ ní Troasi lọ́dọ̀ Karpu, nígbà tí ìwọ bá ń bọ̀ mú un wa, àti àwọn ìwé, pẹ̀lúpẹ̀lú àwọn ìwé-awọ.
14 Aleksanderu alágbẹ̀dẹ bàbà ṣe mi ni ibi púpọ̀: Olúwa yóò san án fún un gẹ́gẹ́ bí iṣẹ́ rẹ̀: 15 Lọ́dọ̀ ẹni tí kí ìwọ máa ṣọ́ra pẹ̀lú, nítorí tí ó kọ ojú ìjà sí ìwàásù wa púpọ̀.
16 Ní àkọ́kọ́ jẹ́ ẹjọ́ mi, kò sí ẹni tí ó ba mi gba ẹjọ́ rò ṣùgbọ́n gbogbo ènìyàn ni o kọ̀ mi sílẹ̀: Àdúrà mi ni kí a má ṣe ká à sí wọn lọ́rùn. 17 Ṣùgbọ́n Olúwa gba ẹjọ́ mi rò, ó sì fún mi lágbára; pé nípasẹ̀ mi kí a lè wàásù náà ní àwàjálẹ̀, àti pé kí gbogbo àwọn aláìkọlà lè gbọ́; a sì gbà mí kúrò lẹ́nu kìnnìún náà. 18 Olúwa yóò yọ mí kúrò nínú iṣẹ́ búburú gbogbo, yóò sì mu mí dé inú ìjọba ọ̀run. Ẹni ti ògo wà fún láé àti láéláé. Àmín.

Preach the Word
4 I (A)charge you [a]therefore before God and the Lord Jesus Christ, (B)who will judge the living and the dead [b]at His appearing and His kingdom: 2 Preach the word! Be ready in season and out of season. (C)Convince, (D)rebuke, (E)exhort, with all longsuffering and teaching. 3 (F)For the time will come when they will not endure (G)sound doctrine, (H)but according to their own desires, because they have itching ears, they will heap up for themselves teachers; 4 and they will turn their ears away from the truth, and (I)be turned aside to fables. 5 But you be watchful in all things, (J)endure afflictions, do the work of (K)an evangelist, fulfill your ministry.
Paul’s Valedictory
6 For (L)I am already being poured out as a drink offering, and the time of (M)my departure is at hand. 7 (N)I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. 8 Finally, there is laid up for me (O)the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous (P)Judge, will give to me (Q)on that Day, and not to me only but also to all who have loved His appearing.

9 Be diligent to come to me quickly; 10 for (R)Demas has forsaken me, (S)having loved this present world, and has departed for Thessalonica—Crescens for Galatia, Titus for Dalmatia. 11 Only Luke is with me. Get (T)Mark and bring him with you, for he is useful to me for ministry. 12 And (U)Tychicus I have sent to Ephesus. 13 Bring the cloak that I left with Carpus at Troas when you come—and the books, especially the parchments.
14 (V)Alexander the coppersmith did me much harm. May the Lord repay him according to his works. 15 You also must beware of him, for he has greatly resisted our words.
16 At my first defense no one stood with me, but all forsook me. (W)May it not be charged against them.
The Lord Is Faithful
17 (X)But the Lord stood with me and strengthened me, (Y)so that the message might be preached fully through me, and that all the Gentiles might hear. Also I was delivered (Z)out of the mouth of the lion. 18 (AA)And the Lord will deliver me from every evil work and preserve me for His heavenly kingdom. (AB)To Him be glory forever and ever. Amen!
Come Before Winter
19 Greet (AC)Prisca and Aquila, and the household of (AD)Onesiphorus. 20 (AE)Erastus stayed in Corinth, but (AF)Trophimus I have left in Miletus sick.
21 Do your utmost to come before winter.
