12 and that is why I suffer(A) these things. But I am not ashamed, because I know the One I have believed in and am persuaded that He is able to guard what has been entrusted to me[a](B) until that day.(C)
Be Loyal to the Faith
13 Hold on to the pattern of sound teaching(D) that you have heard from me,(E) in the faith and love that are in Christ Jesus. 14 Guard, through the Holy Spirit who lives in us, that good thing entrusted to you.
