¹⁴ Take note of those who do not obey what we say in this letter; have nothing to do with them, so that they may be ashamed.

Final Instructions

¹⁷ I urge you, brothers and sisters,^[a] to keep an eye on those who cause dissensions and offenses, in opposition to the teaching that you have learned; avoid them.

¹⁶ speaking of this as he does in all his letters. There are some things in them hard to understand, which the ignorant and unstable twist to their own destruction, as they do the other scriptures.
