27 And he has slandered your servant to my lord the king. My lord the king is like an angel(A) of God; so do whatever you wish. 28 All my grandfather’s descendants deserved nothing but death(B) from my lord the king, but you gave your servant a place among those who eat at your table.(C) So what right do I have to make any more appeals to the king?”
29 The king said to him, “Why say more? I order you and Ziba to divide the land.”

27 But my servant[a] has slandered me[b] to my lord the king. But my lord the king is like an angel of God. Do whatever seems appropriate to you. 28 After all, there was no one in the entire house of my grandfather[c] who did not deserve death from my lord the king. But instead you allowed me to eat at your own table![d] What further claim do I have to ask[e] the king for anything?”
29 Then the king replied to him, “Why should you continue speaking like this? You and Ziba will inherit the field together.”

So tue nur, was dich gut dünkt! 28 Denn als das ganze Haus meines Vaters nichts anderes war als Leute des Todes vor meinem Herrn, dem König, hast du deinen Knecht unter die gesetzt, welche an deinem Tische essen; was habe ich noch weiter zu beanspruchen oder zum König zu schreien?
29 Der König sprach zu ihm: Was machst du noch weiter Worte? Ich habe es gesagt: Du und Ziba sollt den Landbesitz unter euch teilen!
