2 Kings 7:2-4
Christian Standard Bible
2 Then the captain, the king’s right-hand man,[a](A) responded to the man of God,(B) “Look, even if the Lord were to make windows in heaven, could this really happen?” (C)
Elisha announced, “You will in fact see it with your own eyes, but you won’t eat any of it.”(D)
3 Now four men with a skin disease(E) were at the entrance to the city gate. They said to each other, “Why just sit here until we die? 4 If we say, ‘Let’s go into the city,’ we will die there because the famine is in the city, but if we sit here, we will also die. So now, come on. Let’s surrender to the Arameans’ camp.(F) If they let us live, we will live; if they kill us, we will die.”

2 Kings 7:2-4
King James Version
2 Then a lord on whose hand the king leaned answered the man of God, and said, Behold, if the Lord would make windows in heaven, might this thing be? And he said, Behold, thou shalt see it with thine eyes, but shalt not eat thereof.
3 And there were four leprous men at the entering in of the gate: and they said one to another, Why sit we here until we die?
4 If we say, We will enter into the city, then the famine is in the city, and we shall die there: and if we sit still here, we die also. Now therefore come, and let us fall unto the host of the Syrians: if they save us alive, we shall live; and if they kill us, we shall but die.
