New English Translation
10 Let’s make a small, private upper room[a] and furnish it with[b] a bed, table, chair, and lamp. When he visits us, he can stay there.”
11 One day Elisha[c] came for a visit; he went[d] into the upper room and rested.[e] 12 He told his servant Gehazi, “Ask the Shunammite woman to come here.”[f] So he did so and she came to him.[g]

10 Let’s make a small room on the roof and put in it a bed and a table, a chair and a lamp for him. Then he can stay(A) there whenever he comes to us.”
11 One day when Elisha came, he went up to his room and lay down there. 12 He said to his servant Gehazi, “Call the Shunammite.”(B) So he called her, and she stood before him.
