11 Some people still remained in the city. But Nebuzaradan the commander took them away as prisoners. He also took the rest of the people of the land. That included those who had joined the king of Babylon. 12 But the commander left behind some of the poorest people of the land. He told them to work in the vineyards and fields.

13 The Babylonian army destroyed the Lord’s temple. They broke the bronze pillars into pieces. They broke up the bronze stands that could be moved around. And they broke up the huge bronze bowl. Then they carried the bronze away to Babylon.

11 Nebuzaradan the commander of the guard carried into exile(A) the people who remained in the city, along with the rest of the populace and those who had deserted to the king of Babylon.(B) 12 But the commander left behind some of the poorest people(C) of the land to work the vineyards and fields.

13 The Babylonians broke(D) up the bronze pillars, the movable stands and the bronze Sea that were at the temple of the Lord and they carried the bronze to Babylon.
