¹⁷ Then ^(A)Jehoiada cut a covenant between Yahweh and the king and the people, that they would be the people of Yahweh, also ^(B)between the king and the people.

^12 (A)They entered into the covenant to seek Yahweh, the God of their fathers, with all their heart and soul;

²⁹ are ^[a]joining with their ^[b]relatives, their nobles, and are ^(A)entering into a curse and an oath to walk in God’s law, which was given by the hand of Moses, God’s servant, and to keep and to do all the commandments of Yahweh our Lord and His judgments and His statutes;
