5 Nang(A) matapos na ang lahat ng ipinagawa ni Solomon para sa Templo, ipinasok niya sa kabang-yaman ng Templo ang lahat ng bagay na inilaan para dito ng kanyang amang si David: ginto, pilak, mga lalagyan at iba pang kagamitan.
Dinala sa Templo ang Kaban ng Tipan(B)
2 Pinulong(C) ni Solomon sa Jerusalem ang matatandang pinuno ng Israel, ang lahat ng pinuno ng mga lipi at ng mga angkan upang kunin sa Zion, sa Lunsod ni David, ang Kaban ng Tipan. 3 Kaya't nagtipun-tipon ang kalalakihan ng Israel noong ikapitong buwan, Pista ng mga Tolda. 4 Pagdating ng pinuno ng Israel, binuhat ng mga Levita ang Kaban ng Tipan 5 at dinala sa Templo. Ipinasok din ng mga pari at ng mga Levita ang Toldang Tipanan pati ang mga banal na kagamitan nito sa loob ng Templo.
6 Pagkatapos, si Haring Solomon at ang buong kapulungan ng Israel na nagkakatipon sa harap ng kaban ay naghandog ng mga baka at mga tupa na sa dami ay hindi na mabilang. 7 At ipinasok ng mga pari ang Kaban ng Tipan sa Dakong Kabanal-banalan. Inilagay nila ito sa ilalim ng mga pakpak ng mga kerubin. 8 Nakabuka ang mga pakpak ng mga kerubin kaya't nalulukuban ng mga iyon ang Kaban ng Tipan at ang mga pasanan nito. 9 Ang mga pasanan ay lampas sa magkabilang dulo ng Kaban at nakikita ito mula sa Dakong Kabanal-banalan. Ngunit hindi ito nakikita sa labas. Ganito pa rin ang ayos ng lahat ng iyon hanggang ngayon. 10 Walang(D) laman ang Kaban kundi ang dalawang tapyas ng batong inilagay roon ni Moises noong sila'y nasa Sinai.[a] Ito ang mga tapyas ng batong kinasusulatan ng kasunduang ginawa ni Yahweh sa bayang Israel noong umalis sila sa Egipto.
Ang Kaluwalhatian ni Yahweh
11 Ang lahat ng paring naroon, kahit na iba't ibang pangkat ay naghanda ng kani-kanilang sarili sa paglilingkod. At paglabas nila mula sa Templo, 12 nakatayo naman sa gawing silangan ng altar ang mga mang-aawit na Levita: sina Asaf, Heman at Jeduthun, kasama ang kanilang mga anak at mga kapatid. Nakadamit sila ng mamahaling lino at tumutugtog ng pompiyang, alpa at lira, kasaliw ng mga trumpeta na hinihipan ng 120 pari. 13 Ang(E) (F) mga umiihip ng trumpeta at ang mga mang-aawit ay sama-samang nagpupuri at nagpapasalamat kay Yahweh. Sa saliw ng mga trumpeta, pompiyang at iba pang mga instrumento ay inaawit nila ang ganito: “Purihin si Yahweh sa kanyang kabutihan! Pag-ibig niya'y tunay, laging tapat kailanman.” At ang Templo, ang tahanan ng Diyos, ay napuno ng ulap. 14 Kaya't ang mga pari'y hindi nakatagal sa loob upang maglingkod. Napuno ng kaluwalhatian ni Yahweh ang buong Templo.

5 Fu ultimato così quanto Salomone aveva disposto per il tempio. Allora Salomone fece portare gli oggetti consacrati da Davide suo padre e depositò l'argento, l'oro e ogni arredo nel tesoro del tempio.
Trasferimento dell'arca
2 Salomone allora convocò in assemblea a Gerusalemme gli anziani di Israele e tutti i capitribù, i principi dei casati israeliti, per trasportare l'arca dell'alleanza del Signore dalla città di Davide, cioè da Sion. 3 Si radunarono presso il re tutti gli Israeliti per la festa che cadeva nel settimo mese. 4 Quando furono giunti tutti gli anziani di Israele, i leviti sollevarono l'arca. 5 Trasportarono l'arca e la tenda del convegno e tutti gli oggetti sacri che erano nella tenda; li trasportarono i sacerdoti e i leviti. 6 Il re Salomone e tutta la comunità di Israele, convenuta presso di lui, immolavano davanti all'arca pecore e buoi, da non potersi contare né calcolare per il gran numero. 7 I sacerdoti introdussero l'arca dell'alleanza del Signore al suo posto nella cella del tempio, nel Santo dei santi, sotto le ali dei cherubini. 8 Difatti i cherubini stendevano le ali sopra l'arca; essi coprivano l'arca e le sue stanghe dall'alto. 9 Le stanghe erano più lunghe, per questo le loro punte si prolungavano oltre l'arca verso la cella, ma non si vedevano di fuori; così è fino ad oggi. 10 Nell'arca non c'era nulla se non le due tavole, che Mosè vi pose sull'Oreb, le tavole dell'alleanza conclusa dal Signore con gli Israeliti quando uscirono dall'Egitto.
Dio prende possesso del suo tempio
11 Ora avvenne che, usciti i sacerdoti dal Santo - tutti i sacerdoti presenti infatti si erano santificati senza badare alle classi - 12 mentre tutti i leviti cantori, cioè Asaf, Eman, Idutun e i loro figli e fratelli, vestiti di bisso, con cembali, arpe e cetre stavano in piedi a oriente dell'altare e mentre presso di loro 120 sacerdoti suonavano le trombe, 13 avvenne che, quando i suonatori e i cantori fecero udire all'unisono la voce per lodare e celebrare il Signore e il suono delle trombe, dei cembali e degli altri strumenti si levò per lodare il Signore perché è buono, perché la sua grazia dura sempre, allora il tempio si riempì di una nube, cioè della gloria del Signore. 14 I sacerdoti non riuscivano a rimanervi per il loro servizio a causa della nube, perché la gloria del Signore aveva riempito il tempio di Dio.

5 When all the work Solomon had done for the temple of the Lord was finished,(A) he brought in the things his father David had dedicated(B)—the silver and gold and all the furnishings—and he placed them in the treasuries of God’s temple.
The Ark Brought to the Temple(C)
2 Then Solomon summoned to Jerusalem the elders of Israel, all the heads of the tribes and the chiefs of the Israelite families, to bring up the ark(D) of the Lord’s covenant from Zion, the City of David. 3 And all the Israelites(E) came together to the king at the time of the festival in the seventh month.
4 When all the elders of Israel had arrived, the Levites took up the ark, 5 and they brought up the ark and the tent of meeting and all the sacred furnishings in it. The Levitical priests(F) carried them up; 6 and King Solomon and the entire assembly of Israel that had gathered about him were before the ark, sacrificing so many sheep and cattle that they could not be recorded or counted.
7 The priests then brought the ark(G) of the Lord’s covenant to its place in the inner sanctuary of the temple, the Most Holy Place, and put it beneath the wings of the cherubim. 8 The cherubim(H) spread their wings over the place of the ark and covered the ark and its carrying poles. 9 These poles were so long that their ends, extending from the ark, could be seen from in front of the inner sanctuary, but not from outside the Holy Place; and they are still there today. 10 There was nothing in the ark except(I) the two tablets(J) that Moses had placed in it at Horeb, where the Lord made a covenant with the Israelites after they came out of Egypt.
11 The priests then withdrew from the Holy Place. All the priests who were there had consecrated themselves, regardless of their divisions.(K) 12 All the Levites who were musicians(L)—Asaph, Heman, Jeduthun and their sons and relatives—stood on the east side of the altar, dressed in fine linen and playing cymbals, harps and lyres. They were accompanied by 120 priests sounding trumpets.(M) 13 The trumpeters and musicians joined in unison to give praise and thanks to the Lord. Accompanied by trumpets, cymbals and other instruments, the singers raised their voices in praise to the Lord and sang:
“He is good;
his love endures forever.”(N)
Then the temple of the Lord was filled with the cloud,(O) 14 and the priests could not perform(P) their service because of the cloud,(Q) for the glory(R) of the Lord filled the temple of God.
