Ang Salita ng Dios (Tagalog Contemporary Bible)
5 Nang matapos na ni Solomon ang lahat ng gawain para sa templo ng Panginoon, dinala niya sa bodega ng templo ang lahat ng bagay na itinalaga ng ama niyang si David pati na ang ginto, pilak at iba pang kagamitan.
Dinala sa Templo ang Kahon ng Kasunduan(A)
2 Ipinatawag ni Haring Solomon sa Jerusalem ang mga tagapamahala ng Israel at ang lahat ng pinuno ng mga lahi at ng mga pamilya sa Israel, para kunin ang Kahon ng Kasunduan ng Panginoon mula sa Zion, ang Lungsod ni David. 3 Pumunta silang lahat kay Haring Solomon noong panahon ng Pista ng Pagtatayo ng mga Kubol, nang ikapitong buwan.
4-5 Nang magkatipon na ang lahat ng tagapamahala ng Israel, kinuha ng mga pari at ng mga Levita ang Kahon, ang Toldang Tipanan at ang mga banal na gamit nito. Dinala nilang lahat ito sa templo. 6 Naghandog si Haring Solomon at ang buong mamamayan ng Israel sa harapan ng Kahon ng Kasunduan. Napakaraming tupa at baka ang kanilang inihandog, hindi ito mabilang dahil sa dami.
7 Pagkatapos, dinala ng mga pari ang Kahon ng Kasunduan ng Panginoon sa lugar nito roon sa pinakaloob ng templo, sa Pinakabanal na Lugar, sa ilalim ng mga pakpak ng mga kerubin. 8 Nakalukob ang pakpak ng mga kerubin kaya natatakpan ang Kahon at ang mga hawakang pasanan nito. 9 Itong mga hawakang pasanan ay mahaba, ang dulo nito ay kita sa Banal na Lugar, sa harapan ng pinakaloob ng templo, pero hindi ito makita sa labas ng Banal na Lugar. At naroon pa ito hanggang ngayon. 10 Walang ibang laman ang Kahon maliban sa dalawang malalapad na bato na inilagay ni Moises noong nandoon siya sa Horeb, kung saan gumawa ng kasunduan ang Panginoon sa mga Israelita pagkatapos nilang lumabas sa Egipto.
11 Pagkatapos, lumabas ang mga pari sa Banal na Lugar. Ang lahat ng pari na naroon ay nagpakalinis, oras man ng kanilang paglilingkod o hindi. 12 Ang mga musikerong Levita na sina Asaf, Heman, Jedutun at ang kanilang mga anak at mga kamag-anak ay tumayo sa bandang silangan ng altar. Nakasuot sila ng pinong linen at tumutugtog ng pompyang, alpa at lira. Sinasamahan sila ng 120 pari na nagpapatunog ng trumpeta. 13 Ang mga mang-aawit ay nagpuri at nagpasalamat sa Panginoon na tinutugtugan ng mga trumpeta, pompyang at iba pang mga instrumento. Ito ang kanilang inaawit:
“Ang Panginoon ay mabuti; ang pag-ibig niyaʼy walang hanggan.”
Pagkatapos, may ulap na bumalot sa templo ng Panginoon. 14 Hindi na makaganap ang mga pari ng kanilang gawain sa templo dahil sa ulap, dahil binalot ng makapangyarihang presensya ng Panginoon ang kanyang templo.

5 When all the work Solomon had done for the temple of the Lord was finished,(A) he brought in the things his father David had dedicated(B)—the silver and gold and all the furnishings—and he placed them in the treasuries of God’s temple.
The Ark Brought to the Temple(C)
2 Then Solomon summoned to Jerusalem the elders of Israel, all the heads of the tribes and the chiefs of the Israelite families, to bring up the ark(D) of the Lord’s covenant from Zion, the City of David. 3 And all the Israelites(E) came together to the king at the time of the festival in the seventh month.
4 When all the elders of Israel had arrived, the Levites took up the ark, 5 and they brought up the ark and the tent of meeting and all the sacred furnishings in it. The Levitical priests(F) carried them up; 6 and King Solomon and the entire assembly of Israel that had gathered about him were before the ark, sacrificing so many sheep and cattle that they could not be recorded or counted.
7 The priests then brought the ark(G) of the Lord’s covenant to its place in the inner sanctuary of the temple, the Most Holy Place, and put it beneath the wings of the cherubim. 8 The cherubim(H) spread their wings over the place of the ark and covered the ark and its carrying poles. 9 These poles were so long that their ends, extending from the ark, could be seen from in front of the inner sanctuary, but not from outside the Holy Place; and they are still there today. 10 There was nothing in the ark except(I) the two tablets(J) that Moses had placed in it at Horeb, where the Lord made a covenant with the Israelites after they came out of Egypt.
11 The priests then withdrew from the Holy Place. All the priests who were there had consecrated themselves, regardless of their divisions.(K) 12 All the Levites who were musicians(L)—Asaph, Heman, Jeduthun and their sons and relatives—stood on the east side of the altar, dressed in fine linen and playing cymbals, harps and lyres. They were accompanied by 120 priests sounding trumpets.(M) 13 The trumpeters and musicians joined in unison to give praise and thanks to the Lord. Accompanied by trumpets, cymbals and other instruments, the singers raised their voices in praise to the Lord and sang:
“He is good;
his love endures forever.”(N)
Then the temple of the Lord was filled with the cloud,(O) 14 and the priests could not perform(P) their service because of the cloud,(Q) for the glory(R) of the Lord filled the temple of God.

5 Así fue terminada toda la obra que Salomón hizo para la casa del Señor. Y Salomón trajo las cosas consagradas por su padre David, es decir, la plata, el oro y todos los utensilios, y los puso en los tesoros de la casa de Dios(A).
2 (B)Entonces Salomón reunió en Jerusalén a los ancianos de Israel, a todos los jefes de las tribus y a los principales de las casas paternas de los israelitas, para subir el arca del pacto del Señor de la ciudad de David(C), la cual es Sión. 3 Y se reunieron ante el rey todos los hombres de Israel en la fiesta del mes séptimo(D). 4 Cuando llegaron todos los ancianos de Israel, los levitas alzaron el arca(E); 5 y llevaron el arca y la tienda de reunión y todos los utensilios sagrados que estaban en la tienda; los sacerdotes levitas los llevaron. 6 Y el rey Salomón y toda la congregación de Israel, que estaba reunida con él delante del arca, sacrificaban tantas ovejas y bueyes que no se podían contar ni numerar.
7 Los sacerdotes trajeron el arca del pacto del Señor a su lugar, al santuario interior de la casa, al Lugar Santísimo, bajo las alas de los querubines. 8 Porque los querubines extendían las alas sobre el lugar del arca, y los querubines cubrían el arca y sus barras por encima. 9 Pero las barras eran tan largas que los extremos de las barras del arca se podían ver delante del santuario interior, pero no se podían ver desde afuera; y allí están hasta hoy(F). 10 En el arca no había más que las dos tablas que Moisés puso allí(G) en Horeb, donde el Señor hizo pacto con los israelitas cuando salieron de Egipto.
11 Cuando los sacerdotes salieron del lugar santo (porque todos los sacerdotes que estaban presentes se habían santificado sin tener en cuenta las clases(H)), 12 todos los levitas cantores, Asaf, Hemán, Jedutún y sus hijos y sus parientes[a](I), vestidos de lino fino, con címbalos, arpas y liras, estaban de pie al oriente del altar, y con ellos 120 sacerdotes que tocaban trompetas(J). 13 Cuando los trompeteros y los cantores al unísono se hacían oír a una voz alabando y glorificando al Señor, cuando levantaban sus voces acompañados por trompetas y címbalos e instrumentos de música(K), cuando alababan al Señor diciendo: «Ciertamente Él es bueno porque Su misericordia es para siempre(L)», entonces la casa, la casa del Señor, se llenó de una nube, 14 y los sacerdotes no pudieron quedarse a ministrar a causa de la nube, porque la gloria del Señor llenaba la casa de Dios(M).
