2 Corinthians 7:8-10
Disciples’ Literal New Testament
I Am Rejoicing At Your Repentance And Actions After You Received My Letter
8 Because even though I grieved you by the letter[a], I do not regret it. Even though I was regretting it (for I see that that letter grieved you, even though for an hour), 9 now I am rejoicing— not that you were grieved, but that you were grieved into repentance. For you were grieved in-accordance-with God, in order that you might suffer-loss in nothing by us. 10 For the grief in accordance with God works unregretted repentance leading-to salvation. But the grief of the world produces death.

2 Corinthians 7:8-10
New International Version
8 Even if I caused you sorrow by my letter,(A) I do not regret it. Though I did regret it—I see that my letter hurt you, but only for a little while— 9 yet now I am happy, not because you were made sorry, but because your sorrow led you to repentance. For you became sorrowful as God intended and so were not harmed in any way by us. 10 Godly sorrow brings repentance that leads to salvation(B) and leaves no regret, but worldly sorrow brings death.
