10 Now behold, (A)I will give your servants, the woodsmen who cut the timber, [a]twenty thousand kors of crushed wheat, twenty thousand kors of barley, [b]twenty thousand baths of wine, and twenty thousand baths of oil.”

11 Then Huram, king of Tyre, [c]answered in a letter sent to Solomon: “(B)Because the Lord loves His people, He has made you king over them.” 12 Then Huram [d]continued, “Blessed be (C)the Lord, the God of Israel, who made heaven and earth, who has given King David a wise son, [e]endowed with discretion and understanding, (D)who will build a house for the Lord and a [f]royal palace for himself.

11 推羅王希蘭寫信回答所羅門說：「耶和華因為愛他的百姓，所以立你作他們的王。」 12 又說：「創造天和地的耶和華—以色列的 神是應當稱頌的！他賜給大衛王一個有智慧的兒子，使他有見識，有聰明，可以為耶和華建造殿宇，又為自己的王國建造宮殿。

11 Hiram king of Tyre replied by letter to Solomon:
“Because the Lord loves(B) his people, he has made you their king.”
12 And Hiram added:
“Praise be to the Lord, the God of Israel, who made heaven and earth!(C) He has given King David a wise son, endowed with intelligence and discernment, who will build a temple for the Lord and a palace for himself.
