2 Chronicles 13:11-13

¹¹They offer to the Lord ^(A)every morning and every evening burnt offerings and incense of sweet spices, set out ^(B)the showbread on the table of pure gold, ^(C)and care for the golden lampstand that its lamps may ^(D)burn every evening. For we ^(E)keep the charge of the Lord our God, but you have forsaken him. ¹²Behold, God is with us at our head, and his priests ^(F)with their battle trumpets to sound the call to battle against you. O sons of Israel, ^(G)do not fight against the Lord, the God of your fathers, for you cannot succeed.”

¹³Jeroboam had sent ^(H)an ambush around to come upon them from behind. Thus his troops^[a] were in front of Judah, and the ambush was behind them.

¹¹Every morning and evening^(A) they present burnt offerings and fragrant incense^(B) to the Lord. They set out the bread on the ceremonially clean table^(C) and light the lamps^(D) on the gold lampstand every evening. We are observing the requirements of the Lord our God. But you have forsaken him. ¹²God is with us; he is our leader. His priests with their trumpets will sound the battle cry against you.^(E) People of Israel, do not fight against the Lord,^(F) the God of your ancestors, for you will not succeed.”^(G)
