52 Then the men of Israel and Judah charged forward, shouting a battle cry.[a] They chased the Philistines to the valley[b] and to the very gates of Ekron. The Philistine corpses lay fallen along the Shaaraim road to Gath and Ekron.

52 Now the men of Israel and Judah arose and shouted, and pursued the Philistines as far as the entrance of [a]the valley and to the gates of Ekron. And the wounded of the Philistines fell along the road to (A)Shaaraim, even as far as Gath and Ekron.
