다윗이 이스라엘과 유다의 왕이 되다
(삼하 5:1-3)
11 온 이스라엘이 헤브론에 있는 다윗 앞에 모여 말하였다. “보십시오. 우리는 임금님과 살과 피를 나눈 친족입니다. 2 전에 사울이 우리의 왕이었을 때에도 이스라엘군을 거느리고 전쟁에 나가신 분은 바로 임금님이셨습니다. 주 임금님의 하나님께서도 ‘너는 내 백성 이스라엘의 목자가 될 것이다. 너는 내 백성 이스라엘을 다스리는 통치자가 될 것이다.’라고 임금님께 말씀하셨습니다.”
3 그리하여 이스라엘의 모든 장로가 헤브론에 있는 다윗 왕을 찾아오니 다윗이 헤브론에서 주 앞으로 나가 그들과 계약을 맺었다. 그들은 주께서 사무엘을 시켜 말씀하신 대로 다윗에게 기름을 부어 이스라엘의 왕으로 삼았다.

David Becomes King Over Israel(A)
11 All Israel(B) came together to David at Hebron(C) and said, “We are your own flesh and blood. 2 In the past, even while Saul was king, you were the one who led Israel on their military campaigns.(D) And the Lord your God said to you, ‘You will shepherd(E) my people Israel, and you will become their ruler.(F)’”
3 When all the elders of Israel had come to King David at Hebron, he made a covenant with them at Hebron before the Lord, and they anointed(G) David king over Israel, as the Lord had promised through Samuel.
