9 For (A)God did not appoint us to wrath, (B)but to obtain salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ, 10 (C)who died for us, that whether we wake or sleep, we should live together with Him.
11 Therefore [a]comfort each other and [b]edify one another, just as you also are doing.
Various Exhortations
12 And we urge you, brethren, (D)to recognize those who labor among you, and are over you in the Lord and [c]admonish you, 13 and to esteem them very highly in love for their work’s sake. (E)Be at peace among yourselves.

Final Instructions
12 Now we ask you, brothers and sisters, to acknowledge those who work hard(F) among you, who care for you in the Lord(G) and who admonish you. 13 Hold them in the highest regard in love because of their work. Live in peace with each other.(H)
