Ang Pulong Sa Dios
13 Samtang wala pa ako diha, gamita ang imong panahon sa pagbasa sa Kasulatan ngadto sa mga panagtigom sa katawhan, sa pagwali, ug sa pagpanudlo. 14 Ayaw pasagdi ang hiyas nga gihatag kanimo sa Espiritu Santo sumala sa panagna sa mga kadagkoan sa iglesia sa dihang gipandong nila ang ilang mga kamot kanimo. 15 Buhata kini kanunay aron makita sa tanan ang imong pag-uswag. 16 Pagmatngon sa imong kaugalingon nga kinabuhi ug sa imong gitudlo. Padayona ang pagbuhat niana aron maluwas ka ingon man ang naminaw kanimo.

13 Until I come,(A) devote yourself to the public reading of Scripture,(B) to preaching and to teaching. 14 Do not neglect your gift, which was given you through prophecy(C) when the body of elders(D) laid their hands on you.(E)
15 Be diligent in these matters; give yourself wholly to them, so that everyone may see your progress. 16 Watch your life and doctrine closely. Persevere in them, because if you do, you will save(F) both yourself and your hearers.

14 Neglect not the gift that is in thee, which was given thee by prophecy, with the laying on of the hands of the presbytery.
15 Meditate upon these things; give thyself wholly to them; that thy profiting may appear to all.
16 Take heed unto thyself, and unto the doctrine; continue in them: for in doing this thou shalt both save thyself, and them that hear thee.
