8 [a]But let us which are of the day, be sober, (A)putting on the breastplate of faith and love, and the hope of salvation for an helmet.
9 [b]For God hath not appointed us unto wrath, but to obtain salvation by the means of our Lord Jesus Christ.
10 [c]Which died for us, that whether we wake or sleep, we should live together with him.
