3 constantly keeping in mind your (A)work of faith and labor of (B)love and [a](C)perseverance of hope [b]in our Lord Jesus Christ in the presence of (D)our God and Father, 4 knowing, (E)brothers and sisters, beloved by God, (F)His choice of you; 5 for our (G)gospel did not come to you in word only, but also (H)in power and in the Holy Spirit and with (I)full conviction; just as you know (J)what kind of men we proved to be among you for your sakes.

3 We remember before our God and Father(A) your work produced by faith,(B) your labor prompted by love,(C) and your endurance inspired by hope(D) in our Lord Jesus Christ.
4 For we know, brothers and sisters[a] loved by God,(E) that he has chosen you, 5 because our gospel(F) came to you not simply with words but also with power,(G) with the Holy Spirit and deep conviction. You know(H) how we lived among you for your sake.
