¹²El rey nombrará para su servicio jefes de mil y de cincuenta^(A), y a otros para labrar sus campos y recoger sus cosechas, y hacer sus armas de guerra y pertrechos para sus carros. ¹³También tomará a sus hijas para perfumistas, cocineras y panaderas.

¹⁴»Les tomará lo mejor de sus campos, de sus viñedos y de sus olivares y se los dará a sus siervos^(B).

¹²Some he will assign to be commanders^(A) of thousands and commanders of fifties, and others to plow his ground and reap his harvest, and still others to make weapons of war and equipment for his chariots. ¹³He will take your daughters to be perfumers and cooks and bakers. ¹⁴He will take the best of your^(B) fields and vineyards^(C) and olive groves and give them to his attendants.^(D)
