1 Samuel 4:21-22
The Voice
21 She said only that the son should be called Ichabod, meaning, “Where has the glory gone?” For so it must have seemed to her with the loss of the covenant chest of God and the deaths of her husband and father-in-law.
Eli’s Daughter-in-law: 22 The glory has gone from Israel because the Philistines have captured the chest of the True God.

21 She named the boy Ichabod,[a](A) saying, “The Glory(B) has departed from Israel”—because of the capture of the ark of God and the deaths of her father-in-law and her husband. 22 She said, “The Glory(C) has departed from Israel, for the ark of God has been captured.”(D)
