8 (A)When Jacob had gone into [a]Egypt, and your fathers (B)cried out to the Lord, then the Lord (C)sent Moses and Aaron, who brought your fathers out of Egypt and made them dwell in this place. 9 And when they (D)forgot the Lord their God, He sold them into the hand of (E)Sisera, commander of the army of Hazor, into the hand of the (F)Philistines, and into the hand of the king of (G)Moab; and they fought against them. 10 Then they cried out to the Lord, and said, (H)‘We have sinned, because we have forsaken the Lord (I)and served the Baals and [b]Ashtoreths; but now deliver us from the hand of our enemies, and we will serve You.’

GOD’S WORD Translation
8 When your ancestors went with Jacob to Egypt ⌞and were oppressed⌟, they cried out to the Lord, who sent Moses and Aaron to bring them out of Egypt. The Lord settled them in this place. 9 But they forgot the Lord their God. So he handed them over to Sisera, who was the commander of the army of Hazor, to the Philistines, and to the king of Moab. All of them fought against your ancestors. 10 Then they cried out to the Lord and said, ‘We have sinned. We have abandoned the Lord and served other gods and goddesses—the Baals and the Astartes. But rescue us from our enemies now, and we will serve you.’

8 Кад је Јаков дошао у Египат, ваши су преци завапили Господу. Господ им је послао Мојсија и Арона, који су извели ваше претке из Египта, и настанили их на овом месту.
9 Али они су заборавили Господа, свога Бога, и он их је предао у руке Сисере, заповедника асорске војске, у руке Филистејаца и руке моавског цара, који су ратовали против њих. 10 Тада су завапили Господу, рекавши: ’Згрешили смо, јер смо напустили Господа, и служили Валима и Аштартама. Избави нас сада из руку наших непријатеља, па ћемо служити теби.’
