12 (A)Now Yahweh gave wisdom to Solomon, just as He [a]promised him; and there was peace between Hiram and Solomon, and the two of them cut a covenant.

13 And (B)King Solomon raised up forced laborers from all Israel; and the forced laborers [b]numbered 30,000 men. 14 And he sent them to Lebanon, 10,000 a month in [c]shifts; they were in Lebanon a month and two months at home. And (C)Adoniram was over the forced laborers.

13 King Solomon conscripted laborers(C) from all Israel—thirty thousand men. 14 He sent them off to Lebanon in shifts of ten thousand a month, so that they spent one month in Lebanon and two months at home. Adoniram(D) was in charge of the forced labor.
