² and He Himself is ^(A)the ^[a]propitiation for our sins; and not for ours only, but also ^(B)for the sins of the whole world.

^9 (A)It is a trustworthy statement deserving full acceptance. ¹⁰ For it is for this we labor and strive, because we have set ^(B)our hope on ^(C)the living God, who is ^(D)the Savior of all mankind, especially of believers.

¹⁸ So then, as through ^(A)one offense ^[a]the result was condemnation to all mankind, so also through one ^(B)act of righteousness ^[b]the result was ^(C)justification of life to all mankind.

³² For ^(A)God has shut up all in disobedience, so that He may show mercy to all.

²⁹ The next day he *saw Jesus coming to him, and *said, “Behold, ^(A)the Lamb of God who ^(B)takes away the sin of the world!
