^17 (A)The world is passing away and also its lusts; but the one who ^(B)does the will of God continues to live forever.

¹¹ Now these things happened to them as an ^(A)example, and ^(B)they were written for our instruction, upon whom ^(C)the ends of the ages have come.

³¹ and those who use the world, as though they did not ^(A)make full use of it; for ^(B)the present form of this world is passing away.

²⁰ teaching them to ^[a]follow all that I commanded you; and behold, ^(A)I am with you ^[b]always, to ^(B)the end of the age.”

³⁸ and the field is the world; and as for the good seed, these are ^(A)the sons of the kingdom; and the weeds are ^(B)the sons of ^(C)the evil one; ³⁹ and the enemy who sowed them is the devil, and the harvest is ^(D)the ^[a]end of the age; and the reapers are angels. ⁴⁰ So just as the weeds are gathered up and burned with fire, so shall it be at ^(E)the ^[b]end of the age. ^41 (F)The Son of Man ^(G)will send forth His angels, and they will gather out of His kingdom ^[c]all ^(H)stumbling blocks, and those who commit lawlessness,
