5 Nang makita ng tagapagdala na nagpakamatay si Saul, ganoon din ang ginawa nito sa kanyang sarili. 6 Kaya't sabay-sabay na namatay si Saul, ang kanyang tatlong anak na lalaki, at lahat ng kanyang mga kamag-anak. 7 Nang makita ng mga Israelitang nasa libis na tumakas na ang hukbo ng Israel at nang mabalitaang napatay na si Saul at ang mga anak nito, nilisan nila ang kanilang mga bayan at tumakas na rin. Kaya't nang dumating ang mga Filisteo, dito na sila nagkuta.

5 And when his armourbearer saw that Saul was dead, he fell likewise on the sword, and died.
6 So Saul died, and his three sons, and all his house died together.
7 And when all the men of Israel that were in the valley saw that they fled, and that Saul and his sons were dead, then they forsook their cities, and fled: and the Philistines came and dwelt in them.

5 When the armor-bearer saw that Saul was dead, he too fell on his sword and died. 6 So Saul and his three sons died, and all his house died together.
7 When all the Israelites in the valley saw that the army had fled and that Saul and his sons had died, they abandoned their towns and fled. And the Philistines came and occupied them.
