Mga Talaan ng mga Angkang Pinagmulan ng Israel
1 Si Adan ang ama ni Set at si Set ang ama ni Enos. 2 Si Enos ang ama ni Kenan at si Kenan ang ama ni Mahalalel na ama ni Jared. 3 Si Jared ang ama ni Enoc, at anak ni Enoc si Matusalem na ama ni Lamec. 4 Si Lamec ang ama ni Noe at mga anak naman ni Noe sina Shem, Ham at Jafet.
5 Ang mga anak ni Jafet ay sina Gomer, Magog, Madai, Javan, Tubal, Meshec at Tiras. 6 Ang mga anak naman ni Gomer ay sina Askenaz, Difat at Togarma. 7 Ang mga anak ni Javan ay sina Elisha, Tarsis, Kitim at Rodanim.
8 Ang mga anak ni Ham ay sina Cus, Egipto, Libya at Canaan. 9 Mga anak ni Cus sina Seba, Havila, Sabta, Raama at Sabteca, at ang kay Raama naman ay sina Sheba at Dedan. 10 Anak din ni Cus si Nimrod, ang unang makapangyarihang mananakop sa daigdig. 11 Si Egipto ang pinagmulan ng mga Ludim, Anamim, Lehabim at Naftuhim. 12 Siya rin ang pinagmulan ng mga Patrusim, Casluhim at Caftorim, na siya namang pinagmulan ng mga Filisteo. 13 Ang mga anak ni Canaan ay si Sidon, na siyang panganay, at si Het. 14 Sila ang mga ninuno ng mga Jebuseo, Amoreo, Gergeseo, 15 Hivita, Arkita, Sinita, 16 Arvadita, Zemareo at Hamateo.
17 Ang mga anak ni Shem ay sina Elam, Asur, Arfaxad, Lud, Aram, Uz, Hul, Geter at Meshec. 18 Si Arfaxad ang ama ni Selah na ama naman ni Eber. 19 Dalawang lalaki ang naging anak ni Eber; Peleg[a] ang pangalan ng isa sapagkat sa panahon niya nahati ang daigdig, at Joctan naman ang pangalan ng kapatid nito. 20 Si Joctan ang ama ng magkakapatid na Almodad, Selef, Hazarmavet, Jerah, 21 Hadoram, Uzal, Dicla, 22 Ebal, Abimael, Sheba, 23 Ofir, Havila at Jobab.
24 Ganito ang pagkakasunud-sunod ng lahi mula kay Shem hanggang kay Abram: Shem, Arfaxad, Selah, 25 Eber, Peleg, Reu, 26 Serug, Nahor, Terah, 27 at Abram, na tinawag ding Abraham.
Ang Lahi ni Ismael(A)
28 Ang dalawang anak ni Abraham ay sina Isaac at Ismael. 29 Ang mga anak ni Ismael ay sina Nebayot, Kedar, Adbeel, Mibsam, 30 Misma, Duma, Massa, Hadad, Tema, 31 Jetur, Nafis at Kedema.
32 Ito ang mga anak ni Abraham sa kanyang asawang-lingkod na si Ketura: sina Zimran, Jocsan, Medan, Midian, Isbak at Sua. Ang mga anak ni Jocsan ay sina Sheba at Dedan. 33 Mga anak ni Midian sina Efa, Efer, Hanoc, Abida at Eldaa.
Ang Lahi ni Esau(B)
34 Ang anak ni Abraham na si Isaac ay may dalawang anak: sina Esau at Jacob. 35 Ang mga anak ni Esau ay sina Elifaz, Reuel, Jeus, Jalam at Korah. 36 Ang mga anak ni Elifaz ay sina Teman, Omar, Zefi, Gatam, Kenaz, Timna at Amalek. 37 Ang kay Reuel naman ay sina Nahat, Zera, Sammah at Miza.
Ang Lahi ni Seir(C)
38 Ang mga anak ni Seir ay sina Lotan, Sobal, Zibeon, Ana, Dison, Eser at Disan. 39 Ang mga anak ni Lotan ay sina Hori at Homam; si Timna ang kapatid na babae ni Lotan. 40 Mga anak ni Sobal sina Alian, Manahat, Ebal, Sefi at Onam. Ang mga anak ni Zibeon ay sina Aias at Ana. 41 Anak ni Ana si Dison. Si Dison naman ang ama ng magkakapatid na Hamram, Esban, Itran at Keran. 42 Mga anak ni Eser sina Bilhan, Zaavan at Jaacan. Ang kay Disan naman ay sina Hus at Aran.
Ang mga Hari at Pinuno ng Edom(D)
43 Ito ang mga naghari sa lupain ng Edom bago nagkaroon ng hari ang mga Israelita: si Bela na anak ni Beor at ang kanyang lunsod ay Dinhaba. 44 Pagkamatay niya, siya'y pinalitan ni Jobab na anak ni Zera na taga-Bosra. 45 Nang mamatay si Jobab, si Husam na isang Temaneo ang pumalit sa kanya. 46 Namatay si Husam at ang pumalit sa kanya ay isang taga-Avit, si Hadad na anak ni Bedad. Siya ang tumalo kay Midian sa lupain ng Moab. 47 Pagkamatay ni Hadad, pumalit sa kanya bilang hari si Samla na taga-Masreca. 48 Namatay din si Samla at pinalitan siya ni Saul na taga-Rehobot sa may Ilog Eufrates. 49 Nang mamatay si Saul, pumalit sa kanya bilang hari si Baal-hanan na anak ni Acbor. 50 Namatay si Baal-hanan at pumalit sa kanya si Hadad na taga-lunsod ng Pai. Si Hadad ang asawa ni Mehetabel na anak ni Matred. Si Matred ay anak na babae ni Mezahab.
51 Pagkamatay ni Hadad, ang mga ito ang naging pinuno ng Edom: Timna, Alian, Jetet, 52 Aholibama, Ela, Pinon, 53 Kenaz, Teman, Mibzar, 54 Magdiel, at Iram.

The Japhethites(K)
5 The sons[b] of Japheth:
Gomer, Magog, Madai, Javan, Tubal, Meshek and Tiras.
6 The sons of Gomer:
Ashkenaz, Riphath[c] and Togarmah.
7 The sons of Javan:
Elishah, Tarshish, the Kittites and the Rodanites.
The Hamites(L)
8 The sons of Ham:
Cush, Egypt, Put and Canaan.
9 The sons of Cush:
Seba, Havilah, Sabta, Raamah and Sabteka.
The sons of Raamah:
Sheba and Dedan.
10 Cush was the father[d] of
Nimrod, who became a mighty warrior on earth.
11 Egypt was the father of
the Ludites, Anamites, Lehabites, Naphtuhites, 12 Pathrusites, Kasluhites (from whom the Philistines came) and Caphtorites.
13 Canaan was the father of
Sidon his firstborn,[e] and of the Hittites, 14 Jebusites, Amorites, Girgashites, 15 Hivites, Arkites, Sinites, 16 Arvadites, Zemarites and Hamathites.
The Semites(M)
17 The sons of Shem:
Elam, Ashur, Arphaxad, Lud and Aram.
The sons of Aram:[f]
Uz, Hul, Gether and Meshek.
18 Arphaxad was the father of Shelah,
and Shelah the father of Eber.
19 Two sons were born to Eber:
One was named Peleg,[g] because in his time the earth was divided; his brother was named Joktan.
20 Joktan was the father of
Almodad, Sheleph, Hazarmaveth, Jerah, 21 Hadoram, Uzal, Diklah, 22 Obal,[h] Abimael, Sheba, 23 Ophir, Havilah and Jobab. All these were sons of Joktan.
24 Shem,(N) Arphaxad,[i] Shelah,
25 Eber, Peleg, Reu,
26 Serug, Nahor, Terah
27 and Abram (that is, Abraham).
The Family of Abraham
28 The sons of Abraham:
Isaac and Ishmael.
Descendants of Hagar(O)
29 These were their descendants:
Nebaioth the firstborn of Ishmael, Kedar, Adbeel, Mibsam, 30 Mishma, Dumah, Massa, Hadad, Tema, 31 Jetur, Naphish and Kedemah. These were the sons of Ishmael.
Descendants of Keturah(P)
32 The sons born to Keturah, Abraham’s concubine:(Q)
Zimran, Jokshan, Medan, Midian, Ishbak and Shuah.
The sons of Jokshan:
Sheba and Dedan.(R)
33 The sons of Midian:
Ephah, Epher, Hanok, Abida and Eldaah.
All these were descendants of Keturah.

The People of Seir in Edom(AA)
38 The sons of Seir:
Lotan, Shobal, Zibeon, Anah, Dishon, Ezer and Dishan.
39 The sons of Lotan:
Hori and Homam. Timna was Lotan’s sister.
40 The sons of Shobal:
Alvan,[l] Manahath, Ebal, Shepho and Onam.
The sons of Zibeon:

41 The son of Anah:
Dishon.
The sons of Dishon:
Hemdan,[m] Eshban, Ithran and Keran.
42 The sons of Ezer:

The Rulers of Edom(AC)
43 These were the kings who reigned in Edom before any Israelite king reigned:
Bela son of Beor, whose city was named Dinhabah.
44 When Bela died, Jobab son of Zerah from Bozrah succeeded him as king.
45 When Jobab died, Husham from the land of the Temanites(AD) succeeded him as king.
46 When Husham died, Hadad son of Bedad, who defeated Midian in the country of Moab, succeeded him as king. His city was named Avith.
47 When Hadad died, Samlah from Masrekah succeeded him as king.
48 When Samlah died, Shaul from Rehoboth on the river[p] succeeded him as king.
49 When Shaul died, Baal-Hanan son of Akbor succeeded him as king.
50 When Baal-Hanan died, Hadad succeeded him as king. His city was named Pau,[q] and his wife’s name was Mehetabel daughter of Matred, the daughter of Me-Zahab. 51 Hadad also died.
The chiefs of Edom were:
Timna, Alvah, Jetheth, 52 Oholibamah, Elah, Pinon, 53 Kenaz, Teman, Mibzar, 54 Magdiel and Iram. These were the chiefs of Edom.
