21-23 En documentos muy antiguos se encuentra esta lista de los descendientes de Selá hijo de Judá:
Er,
Ladá,
Joacín,
Joás,
Saraf.
Er tuvo un hijo, Lecá.
Ladá tuvo un hijo, Maresá.
Joás y Saraf se casaron con mujeres moabitas, pero regresaron a vivir a Netaim y Guederá, cerca de Belén. Eran alfareros al servicio del rey.
Las tribus de tejedores que vivían en Bet-asbea, y los habitantes de Cozebá, también eran descendientes de Selá.

21 The sons of Shelah(A) son of Judah:
Er the father of Lekah, Laadah the father of Mareshah and the clans of the linen workers at Beth Ashbea, 22 Jokim, the men of Kozeba, and Joash and Saraph, who ruled in Moab and Jashubi Lehem. (These records are from ancient times.) 23 They were the potters who lived at Netaim and Gederah; they stayed there and worked for the king.
